New Paintings Coming Soon

So I've been trying to get my groove back. I've rearranged my room and built a tiny studio in my house. Got my mom's drawing board which can turn into an easel, found old un-used canvases in my brother's closet, and I built a shelf to put my paints/whatnots on. But the most expensive thing is the paint. I'm kickin myself in the butt for giving all my paint supplies to Jon before I left New York. That's like over $50 worth of oils/acrylics. Now I gotta run to the store and spend spend spend! But thank god I shipped home the rest of my beloved supplies.
I've also been having a hard time re-learning how to paint and draw again. I literally did no art since July 2007; that's over a year ago! Today I drove around my hometown, Sugar Land, to take some photos of old buildings and infrastructures and the trains. I think I'll paint some of that stuff. I think the only reason I love my suburb is the lanscape and the old early town feel to it. It's quite beautiful what you can find in Sugar, but it's quickly becoming a booming metropolitan town. Gotta paint these before that happens. I must've looked like a weirdo taking photos in the middle of the highway.
