Gosh I can't believe I'm still trying to decide how I"m going to spend the next 7 months of freedom. I think I'm havin' a hard time because there's just too many options right now for me. They're all quite awesome. They all require a lot of money. And they all require scheduling... But I want to do all....
Cool and Random things I might be doing:
1.) pottery classes at this cool studio near my house??????????
2.) jewelry/metalworking classes at community college?????????
3.) beginning arabic I language classes at community college????????
4.) go to iceland for a week???????
5.) go to coachella festival and/or spend time in pasedena/palmsprings/sanfrancisco??????
6.) mongolia teach abroad program??????
this is hypothetical, and I don't have a calculator in front of me, but I estimate that if I miraculously do all six, it would cost almost like $8,000. Of course 92% of that would be from the trips...
yes, so spoiled. but all my friends are having a blast living their cool and random lives, so why can't i? that's what i get for going to nyu and meeting either very rich friends or very extreme and live-in-the-moment friends. i must continue my very short 20-something decade of living on the edge before I hit 30 and I'll be wearing business attire with a white coat while doing my taxes... and checking my watch to make sure I pick up my kid from cheerleading practice while I think what to cook for dinner for that husband of mine.
