What Matters

Let's see. What did I learn from hanging out with my friends tonight? I think I realized that to love and fall in love is hard, sort of this luck of the draw. But what makes things last forever is feeling like nothing and no one else matters but you and your significant other. No outside factors affect your relationship. You just find satisfaction and pure bliss in what you got. You don't compare, you don't think too much, you just love and live it. I wish I knew how to do that again.

But I guess that's what being in love is. Head over heels. Being in a trance. You don't notice anyone else, you don't think about anyone else, you don't miss anyone else, you don't ponder about anyone else. You give your all. Be selfless as much as possible. You give your life for them.

Maybe I'm too selfish. I think about me too much. I forget what butterflies feel like.
