Man, what a tough year. I've never been so academically active or involved in school as much as now! HBU really is my second college. I have so many functions to attend and socialize with so many different people from different clubs who are in the same field. It's crazy! I don't think anyone from NYU could imagine how my school-life is like now. I've become quite nerdy in a way. A full gung-ho pre-health student. Like I organized this bake
sale the other day. I spent all night baking muffins and tying ribbons on them. Yeesh right? I would've never done this type of crap at NYU. I pour my sweat into this school so much more than at NYU. I think it has to do with the fact that the student body of this school is so tiny that you know EVERYONE. And you've had EVERY teacher. It's like high school all over. It's the same people and professors 24/7, even when I go to the restroom. If you're wondering what that photo is of, that's some of my classmates trying to figure out this handout I passed out to people on their way to class. It contains optical illusion tricks. Yes, go optometry, right?! Don't get me wrong, I still miss that non-chalant lifestyle of an art-student. And how NYU didn't even feel like a school but more of a place you attend seminars. I guess now I know what a real college is... okay, not entirely b/c this school isn't a public state school either. But it's close enough to that experience! I've had a lot of fun at this school and running a club, but now I must leave and attend another new school. How long must I stay a student?
